    In my mind I was walking down 5th Avenue with you, revisiting the magic of places lake FAO Schwarz. The De Beers shop had not yet opened up back during our visit in December 2004. You are quite right that De Beers originated in South Africa. What few people realize is that De Beers artificially inflated diamond prices by being able to control the world supply and through an ingenious marketing plan with the slogan: A diamond is forever. Ever noticed that the second hand market for diamonds is almost non existent? Thanks to De Beers! Wish I could visit the Apple store you described…
