From one NYC lover to another: Awesome stuff! I love what your doing. Just thought I’let ya know. Good for locals and visitors.
Very cool
Thanks for the kudos. I’ll add your blog to the links section. And maybe we can record a podcast on one of your future east village wine outings.
Have you been over to Gnocco over on 10th St. and Ave. B yet?
I really love this podcast!
Greetings from Vienna..
Don’t forget about wear the hosptials in realtionship to your hotel in case you get injured and bring your medician that you are taking.
A bit morbid Sherrie, but certainly appreciated
This is very practical, especially if you may need a refill for meds while in town.
Also good to know that you can dial 911 from any phone for life threatening emergencies. And 311 to get general city information.
Thanks for all the feedback.
I can’t agree more with the hand sanitizer tip. It was almost instictively that I bought a small sample size container early in our trip to NYC. Whenever I got out of the subway or before eating I would indulge in having clean fresh hands!
As for the camera: I did my virtual window shopping on the internet before leaving South Africa and on the day after arriving in NYC went straigyht to Best Buy and got myself my dream camera for the rest of 3 week trip to the States. Memory has recently become so inexpensive that I would recommend investing in at least 2 1GB memory cards or sticks. I must add that it was never an issue finding a photo shop that was willing to transfer my pics to CD when the memory cards were filled up.
The NYC Podcast was great! Really like the tune too.
