This is the truth, tonight someone very dear to me told me they had gotten engaged. As a result, I am in the most sappy, misty-eyed, sentimental state you could imagine (I know, big surprise), so I’m not even going to try to be clever and creative in this e-mail because undoubtedly it would end up on the Lifetime Channel, and that is soooo un-rock and roll. And Satan knows I am the EPITOME of rock and roll.

Ivan Bodley on bass, Jordan Perlson on drums, and… there’s a very real chance there may be a debut here of BACKUP SINGERS!!! (More details on that in the next e-mail, but make no mistake, I am MOST EXCITED about this development!!!) Last show at this venue was, by some accounts, one of our best thus far, and we’re hoping to make this show just as good if not better. Hope for a beautiful summer evening, come out and join the swim!

**ALSO**… there’s been some recording. And it has been good. 11 tracks have been started, and hopefully in a timely manner 11 tracks will be finished to a high quality standard. **More about that to come!**
