I Will Not Forget

The year was 1973. It was the first day that the World Trade Center was open for tourists to view the city from the observation deck. My Mom took my brothers and me to the top of the towers. What a view, let me tell you. We took a few photos that day and thanks to my scanner I was able to preserve them.

I have my own story of Sept. 11th. The people I knew who were lost and the people I knew who were scarred by the trauma. To quote Bono, “There’s been a lot of talk. Maybe too much talk.” For now I’ll just say that I will not forget.
